Our annual Group Review where squadrons compete against each other in Band, Flag Party, Flight and Squadron drill. Trophies are awarded for the Squadrons judged best in each competition. These parades also help promote the League to the public and provide recruiting and public relations opportunities.
The Pacific Air Show on the Gold Coast is an annual event. Featuring a variety of aerobatic shows, displays and stalls it is a fun day out for the whole family. Keep an eye out for the Australian Air League promotion stall to learn about what the Air League can do for you.
The annual PINE RIVER’S SHOW has come around again!
The Pine River’s Show is the largest and oldest running local show in the Morton Bay Region. Featuring many stalls, exhibits, shows and entertainment it is a guaranteed family day out.

The Aviation Australia Expo in Brisbane showcases the burgeoning aerospace industry, with a significant focus on aviation skills development, careers and employment opportunities. The Aircraft Experience Zone will once again be a major attraction, featuring a range of iconic aircraft that visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience up close.
The Aviation Expo, also features dozens of exhibitors from the aviation, defense and education industries who will inspire and educate visitors about how to launch into a career in aviation. There are many activities for visitors to experience, including cabin crew evacuations, avionics demonstrations, insight into operational hanger environment, roving entertainment and careers seminars.
Queensland Group offers Cadets over the age of 13 the option to participate in a Recreation Camp where they can learn leadership skills, have personal development opportunities and socialise with their peers in a fun and encouraging environment.
This is a weekend camp in dormitory style accomodation and cadets participate in team building activities which help them learn to work together to solve problems, personal challenges to guide and fun activities where they can enjoy being young adults.
25 April is the national day of commemoration of Australia and New Zealand for victims of war and for recognition of the role of their armed forces. It marks the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.
Many Squadrons support their local RSLs in ceremonies.
Every year the Queensland Air Museum hosts a Women In Aviation event aimed to celebrate women in aviation and inspire women and girls to pursue a career in aviation.
The event takes place n a venue showcasing Australian aviation history, with over 80 restored aircraft on display as well as dozens of aero-engines. The day is hosted by a wide range of personnel with varied and long experience in aviation.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an international self-development program for all people aged 14 to 25. The award is non-competitive and encourages young people to set and achieve goals. Self motivation is fundamental to the award and there is no set standard to achieve. The criterion for gaining an award is an individual improvement based on each participants starting point and potential.
Queensland Group is offering cadets the Duke of Edinburgh Award Adventurous Journey bronze level and Fieldcraft 3 hike. This hike is for participants in the Duke of Ed Award program who need to complete the Adventurous Journey aspect.
