Every year the Queensland Air Museum hosts a Women In Aviation event aimed to celebrate women in aviation and inspire women and girls to pursue a career in aviation.

The event takes place n a venue showcasing Australian aviation history, with over 80 restored aircraft on display as well as dozens of aero-engines. The day is hosted by a wide range of personnel with varied and long experience in aviation.
